For those who love a little bit of technology, Excalibur have introduced the 4948CD, a machine that offers all the fabulous benefits of prior models but now comes with both a clear door and a digital interface for accurate time and temperature control.

2 Separate Temperature Settings
Excalibur’s latest technology allows for 2 temperature options, this means you can stage the drying with two different temperature settings. This allows for a higher start up temperature for food safety without compromising the nutritional quality later in the cycle, you can then use a lower temperature during the second stage of the drying process.

Evenly Distributed Air with Auto Shut-off 
Cool air is drawn in through the back of the machine, heated up and then evenly distributed across each tray allowing you to set and forget. Your 48-hour timer will auto shut off the machine, leaving you perfect dehydrated food ready for consumption.

15 Square Feet of Drying Space
Offering a full 15 square feet of drying space across its 9 BPA Free Trays and an adjustable thermostat range of 105°F to 165°F the Excalibur 4948CD is suitable for both home and commercial use, particularly for those who enjoying preparing snacks in volume.
