Ingredients:
- ½ cup (70 g) kosher salt, optional
- 2 Tablespoons (22 g) onion powder
- 1 Tablespoon (12 g) garlic powder
- 2 Tablespoons (15 g) pink peppercorns
- ½ cup (20 g) dried porcini mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon (2 g) red pepper flakes
Follow these steps:
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to Variable 7. Blend for 15 to 20 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
Chef's Notes
- Homemade seasonings are an excellent option, especially for those who want to adjust the salt to their own needs or preference.
- For a spicier blend, substitute 2 tablespoons of black peppercorns in place of pink peppercorns.
- This can optionally be made without the kosher salt for a salt-free seasoning.
